.at arcelormittal mexico, we are looking for an experienced ingeniero de proyecto de tuberías to join our team and drive key pipeline projects in the industrial sector.the selected candidate will be responsible for the planning, design, execution, and management of pipeline infrastructure projects, ensuring that they meet arcelormittal's high standards for quality, safety, and efficiency.this position requires strong project management skills, technical expertise in pipeline systems, and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments to deliver successful project outcomes.key responsibilities:pipeline project management:lead and coordinate the full project lifecycle, including planning, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning of pipeline systems.ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet safety, environmental, and quality standards.collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution and alignment with company objectives.design and technical oversight:provide technical guidance and expertise in the design of pipeline systems, including routing, material selection, installation methods, and pressure testing.review technical documents, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.address technical challenges, perform risk assessments, and implement solutions to mitigate potential project issues.budget and schedule management:develop detailed project schedules, resource plans, and budgets, ensuring effective cost management throughout the project lifecycle.monitor project progress, track expenditures, and identify any risks or deviations from the original plan.stakeholder engagement and reporting:provide regular project updates to senior management and other stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, risks, and project performance.coordinate with external contractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.prepare comprehensive project reports, including financial status, timeline adherence, and quality control updates.safety and compliance:ensure adherence to all safety regulations and industry standards throughout the project's execution.lead and participate in safety audits, site inspections, and reviews to guarantee a safe working environment.ensure the project meets all relevant environmental and regulatory requirements.requirements:education:bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, civil engineering, industrial engineering, or related technical fields.professional certifications in pipeline design, project management (pmp), or safety standards are a plus.experience:minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in pipeline engineering and project management, preferably in the industrial, energy, or manufacturing sectors.proven track record in leading pipeline infrastructure projects from concept to completion
