The web content coordinator assists with the creation of ongoing product marketing campaigns and helping make our retail cruise websites the best.
maintenance of website content including investigations of missing & outdated website content.
maintain current and accurate cruise and guided vacation inventory and database content in ovs cruise maintenance database, compass, and guided vacation platforms.
the web content coordinator works somewhat autonomously, with some guidance on decision making from the web content supervisor.
*responsibilities*:
- qa website content, deals and offers to ensure all brand restrictions are being met
- qa websites to ensure content and price accuracy
- perform price research as needed
- write product descriptions and content for assigned brand deal platforms
- load content within cms system for various marketing websites and ongoing sale landing pages
- actively curate and deliver various travel product, destination and program content as well as utilizing existing content for use in ongoing marketing initiatives and campaigns
- responsible for meeting schedules and deliverables, as defined by agreed upon priority.
- maintain accurate inventory in ovs cruise maintenance database including new inventory, updates, and changes.
review and process inquiries within 1 business day of being assigned to department to ensure accuracy of inventory.
*requirements*:
- bilingual - spanish & english required
- one year of experience in marketing and/or web content
- understanding of traditional and internet marketing principles resulting in brand building, lead generation, conversion, revenue & reporting
- excellent attention to detail
- excellent proof reading and qa skills*:
- strong ability to manage multiple deadline-oriented projects concurrently
- great attitude, strong work ethic and be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and work as part as a team.
- able to work independently and with limited supervision
- comprehensive knowledge of microsoft applications (word, excel, powerpoint)
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- strong organizational and project management skills
