the main responsibilities
- job description- manage a 24 x 7 x 365 day after hours/callout dispatch team
- design, promote and teach a data driven work environment
- use statistical methods to analyze data and generate meaningful thoughts and recommendations
- partner with colleagues across field operations & network implementation, service assurance (network operations centers, enterprise repair/design circuit), finance, and it to collect data, generate hypotheses, review analysis results, and quantify business benefits
- provide root cause analysis on delays for a callout impacting customer outages
- manage direct reports as a player coach
- prepare and present results to senior leadership
- partner with management to prioritize business needs and stay up to date with the goals of the organization as they evolve.
will also work with other departments to find new ways to improve opportunities.
- qualifications- demonstrated leadership skills to hire, develop, and motivate team members
- experience with data visualization tools (e.g., tableau, qlik sense, power bi) to use in communicating the outputs of data models
- thorough understanding of basic accounting/financial practices, statistical analysis techniques, capacity planning strategies, forecasting algorithms, and other similar math skills
- excellent written and verbal communication experience with preparing reports for multiple levels of the organization
- ability to stay organized while working in a dynamic environment w numerous projects occur at the same time is a must
- strong communication and interpersonal skills to lead cross functional teams
education
- required - bachelors or equivalent work experience
- preferred - master's in business administration or bachelor's in data science, statistics, or mathematicswhat to expect next
