Responsibilities
- category strategy: develop and implement strategies for sourcing categories.
- supplier management: evaluate and select suppliers, maintaining strong relationships.
- business continuity: ensure uninterrupted operations and plan for contingencies.
- expertise sharing: provide guidance and knowledge to junior buyers.
- value creation: optimize terms, costs, and overall value.
- risk mitigation: identify and assess risks within the supply chain, developing strategies to mitigate disruptions.
- supplier performance monitoring: continuously evaluate supplier performance against agreed-upon metrics, implementing corrective actions when necessary.
- market intelligence: stay informed about market trends, pricing fluctuations, and industry developments, using this knowledge to inform procurement decisions.
- innovation advocacy: encourage supplier innovation and collaboration, explore new technologies and sustainable practices.
- cross-functional collaboration: collaborate with other departments (such as production, logistics, and finance) to align procurement goals with overall business objectives.
Requirements:
- bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain, finance or equivalent required or a related field.
- master´s degree in administration is a plus.
- 5-8+ years of experience in procurement, specializing in fm services like maintenance, cleaning, and security. They should excel in contract negotiation, supplier management, stakeholder collaboration, and sustainable sourcing while aligning procurement strategies with organizational goals and driving cost efficiency.
- programs and cetifications: sa 8000, iatf, vda e iso 14001, iso 45001, iso 9001, repse. Proficient in microsoft suite; advanced mrp/erp knowledge; sap; procurement suites.
- proficient english level.
