your role at clorox:
collaborate with a dynamic team and grow your career as a trade marketing coordinator! We're looking for a passionate individual to support the development and execution of brand strategies across modern trade and e-commerce. You'll play a vital role in driving sales, distribution, and market share growth, working closely with our team to achieve ambitious goals.
in this role, you will:
1. streamline trade promotion execution and meticulously track related spending to improve roi.
2. design and implement a comprehensive tracking system to monitor the performance of promotional agreements throughout their lifecycle, from initial execution to final results.
3. collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to manage promotional activities and new product development (npd) projects, ensuring seamless progression through the process.
4. provide insightful analysis of trade spending performance, overseeing and managing budgets on a monthly, seasonal, and annual basis.
5. apply data sources such as nielsen and advanced excel skills (pivot tables) to generate insights and advise strategic decision-making.
6. conduct rigorous roi analysis for promotional activities, broken down by trade channel, region, customer, store, and sku, to optimize promotional effectiveness.
what we look for:
1. bachelor’s degree in business administration, business sales or a related field or equivalent working experience
2. + 4 years of experience in trade marketing, sales, revenue planning or commercial area in cpg companies and preferably with experience in home care and cleaning categories
3. in-depth understanding of modern trade channel (walmart, soriana, chedraui, costco)
4. ability to work effectively in teams and with cross functional partners
5. results-driven, strong commercial attitude
6. effective planning, organization, and time management skills to meet deadlines
7. decisive decision-making and recommendations
8. proactive, dynamic, and action-oriented
9. initiative to propose improvements and solve problems
