_*about this role*:the global payroll leader plays a critical role in delivering payroll timely and compliant services in the ams region for 11 countries servicing approximately 30k employees.
partnership with the global shared services director and other regional leaders covering additional geographies is key to success in this role.
key expertise requires a focus on payroll tax, adp outsourced operations, and employee experience.
while a significant focus of this role is for ams, this leadership role will also support many global processes and have the responsibility to build and deploy best practices for dxc in other regions/countries working with the regional leadership teams.
*what you'll do*:- establish service delivery strategy for managing employment tax and operations team, and implementing scalable, sustainable solutions for americas region aligning with director, gss, and business partners.- this role will be critical in designing best practices in the service model, supporting processes, and slas for both dxc and adp.- establish leadership reporting for employee servicing- establish a governance model and related escalation management- manage a team of payroll administrators in multiple countries to deliver timely and compliant services with both outsourced and in-house service models.- managing with a control framework the reconciliation of employment taxes to tax jurisdictions, the general ledger, and treasury deposits.- respond to client payroll tax questions.- partner with accounting to ensure all accounts are reconciled monthly and balances are mitigated to closure.- develop internal and/or external partnerships that leverage resources and improve responsiveness.- develop, recommend, and prioritize global processes and infrastructure to improve the dxc workplace experience.- manage a highly skilled team of 6-8 direct reports (regional managers/analysts), based internationally.
*who you are*:- expert experience with employment tax administration including withholding and filings, payroll operations, system implementations, and policy harmonization, along with developing metrics, process redesign and lean methodology.- expert level knowledge of trends and developments in payroll, including applicable legal issues and employment taxation.- ability to evaluate, design, and recommend pay programs based on market assessment and- highly innovative and creative; develops and implementseffective processes that can move the organization forward.- demonstrates a passion to seek, share and adopt best practices from both inside and outside of the company and acts as a champion for change
