That's why all of our employees enjoy access to dynamic career opportunities across different fields and industries.are you ready to help us make the future?*key responsibilities*- act as regulatory technical expert to support compliance of new & existing fire projects- interpret regulatory standards and advise engineering teams so they meet product requirements- clarify necessary document changes and guide technical publication team to mitigate concerns- define product approval strategy in the areas of design, functionality and documentation- prepare test plans, setup systems, coordinate testing and obtain approval results with agencies- perform software & hardware testing to identify performance gaps & improvement opportunities- analyze task risks, deadlines & priorities to help management derive realistic project schedule- resolve ongoing compliance concerns with engineering, marketing & technical publication teams- utilize quality control procedures and approval guides to perform responsible test executions- direct group of global team members on test methodologies to comply with local requirements- develop standard works, implement best practices and train engineering team members- maintain product & equipment compliance to latest standards (changes in en, bs, ul/ulc, iec, etc.)- resolve manufacturing audit concerns by providing accurate & complete information- utilize resources and optimize strategies for fastest way to execute projects- identify test failure root causes and work with engineers on corrective action to resolve failures*you must have*- bachelor of science in engineering- 8 years of experience with new product development, agency approvals or in a certified laboratory- 5 years of full lifecycle project management experience and the ability to provide understanding of key technical terms*we value*- strong problem-solving skills: prioritize, identify root causes & take corrective actions- preferred master of science in electrical engineering or mechanical engineering or computer science- desire experience with relevant certification agencies: ul/ulc, etl, csa, tuv, bre, cnpp afnor, vds, etc
