- collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with business systems or processes.
- oversee the work of supply chain personnel to ensure compliance with company policies and standards.
- identify and manage risk within the supply chain.
- address operational issues and challenges in a timely fashion.
- implement new or improved supply chain processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- participate in the coordination of engineering changes, product line extensions, or new product launches to ensure orderly and timely transitions in material or production flow.
perfil buscado
a successful supply chain sub director should have:
- a bachelor's degree in business administration, management, logistics, or related field.
- proven experience in supply chain management and procurement.
- expertise in managing supply chain and procurement in oil & gas sectors.
- strong leadership and team management skills.
- excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- familiarity with supply chain and inventory management systems.
- strong understanding of demand forecasting and data analysis.
- english as a second language
- solid business acumen and understanding of the impact of supply chain on business profitability and competitiveness.
