Job title: business development manager for fire suppression products
job summary:
we are seeking an experienced business development manager to lead our efforts in identifying and evaluating new business opportunities and alliances that promote the organization's objectives and fire suppression products. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical aptitude, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to present in front of large audiences.
key responsibilities:
* analyze new business opportunities and develop sales plans to acquire new customers.
* participate in business development efforts and retention selling to ensure continued success and profitability of tyco fire products.
* provide on-site technical training to architects, consulting engineers, ahjs, end users (owners), and key accounts.
* develop and support sales training programs for internal and external representatives.
* coordinate with sales personnel to ensure they are aware of upcoming projects, opportunities, and/or changes in customer specifications.
* provide detailed documentation on meetings, site visits, and other critical information.
* participate in strategic planning processes with director of business development.
* conduct research and analysis of business opportunities, consistent with organization's long-range and strategic plans.
* implement market business plans and initiatives.
* explore and build partner relationships to develop and/or enhance business alliances.
* identify new opportunities for tfpp by visiting existing and new customers.
requirements:
* bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, or related field of study.
* minimum 2-4 years' experience in business development/sales in fire suppression, fire alarm, or fire protection industry.
* strong technical aptitude.
* excellent written and verbal communication.
* able to present in front of large audiences.
* strong leadership characteristics.
* organization and time management skills.
* fluency in english and spanish (verbal and written).
* ability to travel up to 60% throughout mexico, central america, and the caribbean.
estimated salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
location: mexico, central america, and the caribbean markets.
