What you’ll do:
lead, facilitate and coordinate production activities and resources management according to established practices and policies within their job area to ensure the timely delivery of quality parts that meet or exceed customer expectations. Promote the continuous improvement process and a safety culture.
Implement, promote and maintain a safe work environment by fostering a culture of accident prevention, investigation, equipment maintenance, and adherence to rules. Identify, control and administer risks in the work area.
Prepare daily production status reports.
Coordinate and utilize resources effectively to resolve manufacturing problems, improve processes, and meet customer demands.
Provide and implement training to enhance personnel performance.
Manage employee attendance, punctuality, overtime, vacations, and permissions.
Act as a business partner by planning, initiating, leading, measuring, monitoring, and assessing continuous improvement programs using appropriate eaton business systems (ebs) processes and problem-solving tools such as els (eaton lean system) and 5s.
Maintain accurate inventory records while seeking ways to reduce work in progress (wip) inventory levels and maximize product flow.
Participate in setting and achieving department goals and develop performance metrics to monitor results and initiate process improvements.
Supervise the identification of material non-conformance by staff at least once per shift.
Coordinate with human resources in the selection, promotion, counseling, and termination of employees following eaton guidelines.
Monitor machinery, equipment, and facility conditions and initiate maintenance work orders as needed.
Promote the company’s vision by actively supporting eaton’s ethics, values, and quality policies.
Motivate and coach employees to maintain high levels of satisfaction, productivity, and quality through effective use of rewards and recognition channels.
Qualifications:
engineering degree or related fields required. 2-3 years of experience desired in a related manufacturing or engineering environment.
Skills:
iso 9001-2015, iso 14001, management systems, positive attitude towards continuous improvement activities, health and safety programs.
