*principal duties*:
- supervise that purchase orders are created within the domain sla in compliance with our enterprise global procurement policy (proper approvals and documentation)
- lead the purchasing team (15 hc)
- supervise flow of purchasing requisitions and inform the requester of approval/denial of them
- build strong partnerships with the field leaders and requesters
- develop, maintain and improve operation kpi's in power bi
- communicate purchasing policies to all members of the americas organization (including and not limited to sales, customer service, service, accounts payable, manufacturing, materials, finance, it and human resources)
- key procurement point of contact to ensure adherence to approved jci global procurement policies and procedures
- train new employees and requestor on purchasing policies & procedures
- purchasing ethics/compliance representative for americas
- supervise with external and internal compliance audits for americas
- develop country transition plan for erp's/ business systems
- service the americas purchasing organization with resources, solutions and corrective actions for day to day purchasing issues and or inquiries.
- this role directly supports an organization designed to improve customer satisfaction, profitability and service levels utilizing procurement best practices and clearly defined success measurements.
*requirements*:
- minimum of 3 years of procurement experience
- experience in team management
- fluent english
- portuguese (preferably)
- proactive
- sense of urgency
- strong communication skills
- analytical skills
- building an effective team & couching other competencies
- bottom-up innovation and execution discipline
- bachelor's degree (business, commerce, administration, finance)
