lead retail and shopper insights knowledge development in order to maximize colgate short and long term strategic opportunities to drive business growth, particularly in key emerging retail environments (ie.
ecommerce).
*principal duties and responsibilities*
- support cdo, catman and retail marketing to build and implement strategies across retail environments.
- drive shopper behavior understanding agenda to uncover growth opportunities in key emerging retail environments.
- be the expert of people´s shopper journey and retail environments dynamic to help the teams to transform insights into solid actions.
- boost the growth of omnichannel understanding and knowledge in order to feed omnichannel strategy.
- provide insights and thought leadership in support of key business processes (e.g.
top-to-tops, innovation summits, joint business planning, etc.).
- lead and implement a wide range of research methodologies focused on in store implementation (planogram test, pdh, assortment, pop test, etc).
- be hands on agile methodologies to provide fast response to critical customers knowledge needs.
- partner with retail marketing divisional team to drive knowledge plans for ecommerce across latam.
- oversee the communication of shopper research results/shopper insights to all relevant parties within the organization;
- be seen as the expert of shopper knowledge across customers and retail environments.
- highly experienced in building actionable knowledge connecting the dots between different sources of data (nielsen, kantar, dunnhumby, etc).
*basic requirements include*
- major in: math/statistics, business management.
marketing, psychology, sociology, anthropology
- fluent english
- 7+ years of experience in research in cpg ideal with focus on shopper marketing/insights and interacting with commercial teams.
- shopper insights experience or with catman/sales/ retail marketing background.
- evident digital capabilities for research + strong experience with agile research platforms
- experience working across different cultures and regions.
