.as the policies process & programs manager, global procurement & supply chain-global operations center of excellence (coe) you will be responsible for governance & operational framework, business reporting, analytics and digital programs.
you will have a critical role to lead and support under the 3pc (policies, process, programs & compliance) area, by playing visible role on processes efficiencies, execute or enable actions to ensure customer or regulatory compliance, but also managing and supporting functional programs.the coe operates globally and operates across all spend/procurement categories including raw materials, indirect materials, logistics, all ppg bsus, all ppg manufacturing plants, all paints and coatings applications.ppg offers excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, disability, family leave, pto, 401k, and opportunities for growth!
you will report to the coe leader & process manager.responsibilitiesdevelop global training and communication calendar aimed at building employee awareness of policies, procedures, programs, and tools using various communication channels (such as intranet, town halls, webinars)oversight of other procurement-driven programs, such as risk management, supplier quality, third-party due diligence, performance metrics, coordinating with sbus and an understanding of ppg customer expectations and regulationsoversee implementation, training, adoption and compliance of specific programswork with it to hand off technical issues; manage prioritizationassist development, documentation, training, and change management that align with organizational sourcing strategies, goals, and objectivesbenchmark best practices and learn best practicessupport stakeholder alignment initiatives within the procurement/supply chain function across all regions, strategic business units, functions and with suppliers.facilitate skills development and training within the coe and procurement & supply chain teamssupport internal and external website content managementestablish and own global procurement policies in the areas of implementation, training, compliance/measurement, and enforcement and continuously evaluate and identify gaps with regards to policies and complianceproactively identify and deploy global procurement policies with clear understanding of regulatory and business needs in conjunction with the development of sourcing strategiesparticipate in audit discussions (iatf, iso9000) on behalf of procurement and drive the function towards a state of proactive readiness at all times (this includes active documentation, maintenance of audit schedules, coordination, etc
