key responsabilties:
- category business partner to guarantee procurement´s contribution to the category margin and growth ambitions.
- the voice of procurement with the business, ensure alignment between portfolio strategies with the division's strategy.
- guardians of nmi, identify nmci top offenders portfolios, challenge potential material cost increases and support portfolios to reduce impacts.
- first procurement contact to ensure suppliers performance for beauty & wellbeing categories in mexico
- lead work together with suppliers to ensure flawless service and focus on continuous improvement to ensure quality.
- identify and build partnership with key suppliers and guarantee supplier compliance
- support the development of material strategies defined with global, regional and local portfolios
- monitor overall performance of the supply network and ensure continuous improvement
- crisis management developing contingency plans and alternatives to ensure a resilience plan
- execute projects to generate value for the b&w brands through savings opportunities
- deliver bottom line savings by working together with suppliers, r&d and the supply chain to identify and implementing cost saving programs
- leadership role in local innovations/ innopricing, guaranteeing correct materials strategies, costs optimization and reducing supplier lead times to guarantee launch on time.
- analyze and develop deep understanding of the supply markets, including external economic factors which influence those markets
- monitor overall performance of the supply network and ensure continuous improvement
- drive for continuous external/internal stakeholder's management as well as sc e2e understanding
skills/competencies:
- higher professional education / university degree
- experience in procurement or supply chain is desirable
- high degree of negotiation skills
- be able to demonstrate influencing and interpersonal skills
- advanced english written and verbal communication skills
- expert knowledge in excel, power point, sap
- excellent presentation skills (creation and delivery)
- excellent analytical skills with ability to extract, organize, analyze significant amount of data
- capable of managing and prioritizing across projects with a thorough approach to workload management
- attention to detail and aptitude to solve complex problems
- enjoy working in a virtual and multicultural working environment
