as a collections director - america here at honeywell building automation (ba), you will be accountable for overseeing and guiding the order to cash function within the organization for americas. As the collections director - america, you will develop and implement strategies to optimize the cash collections process, reduce past due receivables, and improve overall efficiency and the customer experience through the entire otc cycle. In this role, you will analyze customer payment trends and develop action plans to address any issues that may arise. You will work with cross-functional teams to resolve customer disputes and escalations, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. The collections director - america will also monitor and report on key performance metrics related to collections, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
You will report directly to our sr. Otc director and you’ll work out of our san luis potosi, s.l.p., location on a hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the financial health of the organization by ensuring the timely collection of outstanding accounts receivable and optimizing the collections process.
Key responsibilities
- establish strategies and develop partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure ba hits its past due, cash collection, bad debt, unapplied cash and disputes targets.
- create learning and development strategies to ensure the professional growth of the otc team members
- deploy and monitor the correct execution of the global design models (gdms) for order to cash
- create and analyze periodical reports on kpis and underlaying data to develop action plans that will improve ba’s cash position
- connect with key customers in a regular basis to gather feedback and strengthen honeywell’s relationship with them
- represent the slp ba site to the broader teams located in the mx0a site
you must have
- minimum of 8 years of experience in collections, credit, finance, customer experience or accounts receivable management
- proven track record of successfully managing a large multi-disciplinary team in a complex matrixed organization
- history of successful talent development
- strong thoughtful and problem-solving skills
- excellent communication and negotiation skills
