*overview*:
*key responsibilities*:
- design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and api testing.
- collaborate with the development team to understand requirements and implement robust testing solutions.
- write comprehensive test cases and maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software.
- conduct gui automation, ensuring that user interfaces meet quality standards.
- perform software testing and quality engineering tasks in a dynamic environment.
- utilize sql and linux skills for test setup and troubleshooting purposes.
- contribute to api automation and database-related testing tasks.
- troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and provide effective solutions for automation projects.
- demonstrate strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
*requirements*:
- a bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- a minimum of 6 years of experience in automation engineering / sdet roles.
- strong programming skills and the ability to write well-designed test scripts.
- adept in logical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- proficiency in test design and test case writing.
- experience with software testing, quality engineering, sql, and linux environments.
- strong troubleshooting skills with a track record of delivering automation projects and solutions.
*nice to have skills*:
- experience with database automation and mobile automation.
- domain knowledge in trading or portfolio management.
- additional language proficiencies are considered a plus.
