*position summary
the core feature and calibrations owner shall be responsible for safety and user experience vehicle features and related performance tuning calibrations repository ownership.
*your role
the vse core fo will support multiple automotive customer projects focusing on vehicle-level features with responsibilities of:
- *safety 1 *st *mindset*:maintain a safety-first mindset abiding by all regulations and laws while using new technology and vehicle systems.
- *feature definition*:define the requirements and specifications of the feature, in collaboration with stakeholders such as product managers, engineers and architects.
- *aspice model requirements development & maintenance*:create, maintain, and be a key stakeholder related to the features, including requirements, specifications, test plans, safety case support, feature performance/tuning/calibrations, and beyond.
- *development *& performance *oversight*:manage the development process of the feature, ensuring adherence to quality standards through testing, validation, tuning, calibration, and feedback processes.
- *cross-functional *relationships*:establish and interface regularly with various internal to aptiv and customer teams including engineering, design, testing, and program mgmt. to ensure features are implemented correctly and meets customer needs.
- *risk management*:identify and mitigate risks associated with the feature, such as technical challenges, resource constraints, or changes in requirements.
- *stakeholder communication*:keep stakeholders informed about the progress, challenges and outcomes related to the feature.
- *continuous improvement*:seek opportunities to improve the feature based on feedback, data analysis, and market trends.
- *customer focus*:keep the customer's needs and preferences in mind throughout the development process to ensure the feature delivers value and meets expectations.

*qualifications and education requirements
- 5 + years in the automotive industry
- current industry fundamental asux features and system enabling components understanding.
- masters, bachelors, or combined associate d degree s in automotive technology, systems engineering, vehicle dynamics, computer science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, management/data sciences, mechatronics engineering, or related field.
- self-motivated in team and individual tasks.
- passion for success while growing positive global relationships.
- fundamental understanding of the vehicle development process and key automotive milestones.
- fundamental understanding of aspice and “v” model development.
- fundamental understanding of the agile process.
- proficient usage of technical requir
