the role
* collaborate with north america, latin america colleagues, and local consultants on different projects such as:
* reserving calculation
* implementation of actuarial software
* statistical research
* product and market strategies including pricing and predictive modeling
* product, pricing, claims, and underwriting techniques and software
* enterprise risk and capital management, merger & acquisition, and corporate restructuring
qualifications
the requirements
* bachelor’s degree preferably in actuarial science, mathematics, statistical or industrial engineering, business administration, or economics
* strong written and verbal english skills and a demonstrated ability to interact (requisite)
* proficiency in microsoft office, especially excel
* programming knowledge (sql, access, vba, r, python) (desirable)
* 1 – 1.5 years of experience working in insurance companies or data consulting firms (desirable but not requisite)
* well organized, committed to quality, and eager to learn
* high standards in: processing details, solving problems, delivering results, showing resilience, communicating information, and structuring tasks
