about the role of accounting assistant - residences:
responsible for maintaining a system of purchase orders, receipts, invoices, and check requests to support, document, and process all hotel accounts quickly and appropriately.
what will you do in this position?
* perform accounting captures and records of daily operations, ensuring accuracy and consistency with supporting documents.
* classify and record bank movements, invoices, payments, and collections in the accounting system.
* perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure correspondence between accounting records and bank account movements.
* verify accounts payable and receivable to ensure they are up-to-date and correctly recorded.
* assist in the preparation of accounting, financial, and tax reports as requested by the department or management.
what will be necessary for this role?
* advanced proficiency in english is a must
* degree in accounting or equivalent experience.
* experience of more than one year in the finance area is valued.
* experience with birchstreet software management is valued.
* excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* work safely, prudently, and in an organized manner.
*this job requires applicants to have valid work authorization in mexico and spanish is essential.*
