*position overview*
this position will be responsible for new sales growth, day-to-day client account management, and training for customers in the north of mexico, especially in guadalajara and monterrey.
*responsibilities*
the technical account manager primary job responsibilities will include:
- in cooperation with the sales leadership, develop a prospecting and new commercial dealer acquisition strategy.
identify and target prospect dealers across different channels with a large subscriber base, interested in smart home/business interactive solutions.
- providing valuable ongoing product support and training to partners via webinar and on-site.
- lifecycle account management; identifying potential new partners in the region, engaging and launching new accounts, and providing ongoing local support for mutual business growth.
- lead and execute the onboarding process for new partners.
this includes commercial and technical training as well as initial setup.
*requirements*
- ba or bs, engineering, math, sciences or business preferred
- the ability to communicate in english with vendors and internal teams, both in writing and verbally, in a clear, professional manner
- a self-starter who can operate independently.
- proficiency and up-to-date knowledge of consumer, cloud, and iot technology
- excellent problem-solving skills
- the ability and commitment to meet deadlines, even during high volume periods
- flexible and positive attitude that fosters team spirit
- availability to travel up to 30% within mexico
- experience with at least one of the following is required: electronic security, access control, home automation, or video over ip
- 3-5 years of experience in outside sales (consultative and business 2 business sales)
- drives results: proven history of increasing revenue, closing new accounts, and successfully growing accounts.
