*position purpose*
directly supevises hourly autozoners working in a specific department of the distribution center. Responsibilities include day-to-day supervision of 7-45 employees; includes training, payroll, performance review, discipline, and scheduling of work assignments.
*primary accountabilities*
personnel - assigning daily duties, performance appraisal, checking clocking procedures to ensure zero payroll errors, restucturing workforce as needed throughout shift.
Productivity - monitoring throughout shift; convey to zoners their progress and address any problem areas.
Ojs - asesoramiento / capacitación zoners, resolución de problemas, corrección durante el turno, toma de decisiones. Imparte a zoners la importancia del trabajo y cómo afecta el rendimiento al éxito o fracaso general del dc en su conjunto.
Zoner care/maintenance - administer the welfare of zoners (providing necessary resources for accomplishing the day's tasks, water for hot days, protection equipment, etc.
Administration - filing of productivity and quality control reports; documentation of employee records
interdepartmental coordination to ensure a controlled flow of goods, ensuring good practices according to processes, conducting audits.
