the role is responsible for providing high quality, timely, and accurate mi and ad hoc reporting to group treasury and helping produce liquidity analytics.
this role is also involved in designing and implementing the mi transformation to help drive strategic direction.main activities:analyse liquidity across the group and provide key driver analysis assessing linkages between entity and impact on overall group positionsupport the implementation of effective mi data to support liquidity reporting requirementssupport the enhancement of liquidity risk measurement and methodologies through data analysisdevelop and maintain strong working relationships with other group and regional teamsinterpret group-wide mi and provide succinct coherent commentary to group treasury stakeholders, including the group treasurerassist in writing papers for key committees including the alco and other senior management meetings as requiredunderstand the data linkages within the data sourcessupport the team in managing the delivery of complete, accurate, and timely mi and ad hoc data to internal and external stakeholderslead identification, root cause analysis, and remediation of issues and risksfacilitate data integrity by analyzing and validating major movements with clear explanations/commentsensure business requirements are delivered and implemented in an accurate and timely manner, supporting change delivery in line with defined project plans where requiredevidence that data submission is in line with regulatory rules and adheres to the control frameworksupport group liquidity optimization initiativesrequirements:markets understandingexperience within financeexcel proficiencyanalytical thinking skillspython and sql knowledge (desirable)you'll achieve more when you join hsbc!At hsbc, we offer our colleagues a greater number of days off to fully enjoy significant life events, take care of family, or grieve the loss of a loved one.
