the assistant project managers assist on a wide range of projects of all sizes and dimensions, supporting a project manager and / or senior project manager, also will support project management commissions, taking responsibility for effectively delivering a range of tasks to high quality standards.
*qualifications* main responsibilities*:
- assist commission manager ensuring commissions are managed to the right quality standards and are completed efficiently and on time.
assist to ensure that client objectives are met and that projects are delivered to time and cost targets and to appropriate quality standards.
- assist commission manager ensuring service delivery on commissions is in line with the conditions of appointment.
- tracking and documenting changes
- preparing written project communication materials
- preparing formal project progress reports and other reports.
- ensure documents are shared at key times to facilitate timely project completion
- liaising with the client, contractors and designers
- attending meetings.
transcribe meeting minutes and action items and drive each item to closure.
- monitoring and documenting project progress and other performance indicators
- strong relationships are developed with clients and cross-functional team members
- they work as an effective team member within the context of delivering a specific commission
- business development opportunities with existing and new clients, including cross-selling opportunities, are identified
- key information and data is effectively shared and appropriately retained
*qualifications*:
- bachelor's degree in construction related engineering or architecture.
- 3 years' experience in similar positions.
- knowledge in construction stages.
- good computer skills (ms office).
- good interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team.
- fluent english - spoken and written.
