2. Directly responsible for developing, evaluating and improving manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of industrial engineering norms, product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods,
manpower capabilities and quality standards as well as controlling scrap.
3. Supervises the adequate preventive and corrective maintenance of facilities, equipment, machinery minimizing costs and meeting established quality standards.
4. Supervises and evaluates procedures designed to upgrade production methods, equipment utilization and the quality of the finished goods.
5. Plans investigations to determine the effectiveness of manpower utilization and projects labor and staffing needs.
6. Formulates, negotiates and manages the department’s objectives and budgets, as well as the strategies and action plans to achieve those objectives.
7. Validates and authorizes standard operating procedures (sop) of the manufacturing function.
8. Responsible for selecting, training, motivating and developing the manufacturing as well as acting as a facilitator. Responsible for promoting and maintaining interdepartmental harmony.

- engineering degree.
- 5 years within the manufacturing process management.
- warehouse and distribution experience.
- bilingual (english/spanish).
- detail oriented, hands on.
- valid visa (must).
