the records management manager is responsible for providing enterprise-wide support and guidance to ensure adherence to the enterprise records management policy and standards. This individual will have responsibility for covering all records management related capabilities to ensure that effective controls and monitoring are in place to reduce risk. This role will ensure that the business is compliant with the records management policies, standards, and procedures and the applicable laws, rules and regulatory requirements. Responsible for handling staff management issues, including resource management and allocation of work within the team/project.
The rmo and policies manager will be in charge of execute the correct actions to make sure the complete team comply with the following policies:
record management, mandatory abscence policy and cob policy.
*responsibilities*:
full supervisory responsibility, including performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary and termination as well as directly of daily tasks and responsibilities
key liaison for the businesses, functions and regions in providing expert guidance and support on records management policy and standards including identification of records required for legal and other record holds processes
implement the grmo key initiatives particularly in the areas of identification, inventory and lifecycle management of records - both physical and electronic, program governance, etc.
Provide guidance to the program lead work groups to ensure continuous focus on meeting and exceeding records management standards
lead engagement with stakeholders to identify opportunities for projects
periodic review of caps and key projects to ensure adherence to plans and policy requirements and to avoid last minute surprises
ensure all procedures are well documented. Collate and maintain all records/proof for the respective deliverables
coordinate with the regional/local teams to facilitate management responses during the review cycle
prepare regular reports to keep management updated on progress

*+4 years of relevant experience in program governance, risk & control and compliance functions, with supervisory experience*
