We are seeking an experienced and strategic vice president of operations to oversee and elevate our business operations in guadalajara. This role will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams, driving process excellence, and ensuring the successful execution of strategic initiatives at a national level.

key responsibilities
1. lead and coordinate operations across all business functions (finance, hr, legal, sales support, customer service, etc.).
2. develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, quality, and scalability.
3. ensure alignment of local execution with the company's global strategic vision.
4. define kpis, track performance metrics, and ensure the achievement of business objectives.
5. collaborate with senior leadership on planning, budgeting, forecasting, and growth initiatives.
6. identify opportunities for innovation and lead change management efforts to optimize performance.
7. oversee compliance with local regulations and internal policies.
8. build and nurture a strong leadership team and empower managers through coaching and clear performance expectations.
9. represent the company in high-level conversations with key partners, vendors, and stakeholders.
10. provide regular updates and strategic recommendations to executive leadership.
requirements
1. bachelor's degree in business administration, industrial engineering, finance, or related field (mba or equivalent advanced degree is highly desirable).
2. 8+ years of progressive leadership experience in operations, business strategy, or general management.
3. demonstrated experience leading multi-functional teams and large-scale initiatives.
4. strong knowledge of business process optimization, performance management, and operational frameworks.
5. exceptional leadership and team development capabilities.
6. advanced communication, analytical, and decision-making skills.
7. fluency in english (written and verbal); additional languages are a plus.
8. experience working in multinational or matrix organizations is highly valued.
9. a hands-on, accountable, and results-driven leadership style.
