job summary
employee experience & innovation (ee&i) is seeking a project manager to drive delivery of multiple projects across various fields, such as our future-oriented businesses, including data science, ai and other emerging areas. This role will work with some of the most exciting up-and-coming products in hp.
this role is responsible for ensuring hands-on project management during analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post-implementation phases of software features, solutions, and products. The role requires strong leadership, communication, and technical expertise to navigate challenges, coordinate cross-functional teams, and drive innovation. The role is responsible for defining the overall approach and architecture, driving overall quality plan and ensuring the on-time delivery and escalation, as necessary.

responsibilities
1. leads portions of the planning and execution of multiple technical projects or programs.
2. develops delivery roadmaps based on product, services, technical requirements and business needs.
3. partners with cross-functional teams to help prioritize, plan, track and execute cross organizational programs.
4. performs program analysis, manages risk, identifies and influences necessary course corrections.
5. manages risks and resolves issues that affect release, scope, schedule, and quality.
6. provides technical leadership and guidance to ensure that solutions meet quality and performance standards.
7. communicates project status, progress, and challenges through regular reporting and presentations to leadership.
8. encourages innovation within project teams and facilitate the exploration of new technologies and solutions.
9. ensures that all stakeholders are aligned towards a common goal by meeting and receiving feedback on an ongoing basis.
10. communicates difficult technology concepts and negotiates with others to adopt a different point of view.
11. provides guidance, direction, and instruction in project/program management to less-experienced team members and colleagues.
education & experience
1. four-year or graduate degree in computer science, information technology, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
2. typically has 7-10 years of work experience in project/program management, scrum master, professional technology organization or related field.

the base pay range for this role is $110,050 to $166,150 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to us candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
