Position summary
the role sits within the newly formed interactive displays team where our goal is to increase the adoption of samsung interactive displays within the uk education and corporate sectors. The displays division is a team of over 40 people dedicated to maintaining samsung’s market lead in displays and professional signage.
Role and responsibilities- the role will focus on the growth of interactive displays as well as the wider display and samsung product portfolio into the education sector.- have direct contact with end users to position and demonstrate interactive displays with deep technical and industry specific knowledge.- account management of key reseller partners to improve share of wallet- ability to identify and engage with new partners to gain wider market coverage- identify key consumers to make contact and develop opportunities through business meetings and demonstrations- knowledge of education landscape including purchasing frameworks and government bodies- support reseller partners with product demonstrations- work alongside product management, marketing and business operations to activate new product launches and maximise the effectiveness of promotions market wide.- build and maintain your pipeline on salesforce, using this data to provide accurate forecasting into our supply chain team, along with your line manager.
What we need for this role;
to be successful, you will possess the following skills and attributes:
- the ability to plan, identify and implement a growth strategy to increase sales within the education vertical- able to adjust conversations depending on situation and customer types- the interpersonal and communication skills to work with a variety of different customer personas, from technical specialists to senior leadership.- must have demonstrable customer facing experience- hands on approach with the ability to demonstrate a product to all levels of collaborators- experience of process and pricing management for project and tender responses.- extensive industry network and ability to widen network where required.- experience in education channel/end user sales, preferably within av/it industry.- knowledgeable in education technology and understands industry terminology- experience using salesforce or other crm/pipeline management tools- self-starter, with exceptional time management and prioritisation skills.

Success in this position means hitting the ground running and quickly becoming the go to person for samsung interactive displays within the education sector. After initial on boarding, within the first 3 months you will be heavily present at end user locations and building a partner network to support business development and lead generating activities.
