the process engineer supports the manufacturing lines addressing quality product related issues, developing engineering solutions that consider associates' health and manifest environmental responsibility at the monterrey facility. It is also responsible for developing engineering improvement projects such as equipment and process enhancements, among others.
responsibilities
* drive successful product and process validations for all product lines associated with process or product changes.
* assure compliance of dimensional and functional specifications for components (including molding injection components) or sub-assemblies for product manufacturability in the final assembly.
* review manufacturing processes to assure a well-product flow through the production lines. Implement process modifications as needed.
* identify, develop and manage engineering projects/programs such as process & cost improvement, product line transfers, and facility modifications.
* actively participate in continuous improvement, customer complaints, and new product introduction projects.
* engage others, promote, and participate in environmental, health, and safety initiatives, focusing on continuous improvement.
* this position is required to assure compliance of company operations to all applicable laws, regulations, and standards, good business practices, and company documented procedures.
* engage others, promote, and participate in 5s initiatives to contribute to the continuous improvement of our site.
qualifications
* bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in mechanical engineering.
* 3 to 5 years of experience in similar positions.
