this position is a field-based position at abbott core diagnostics that will report to the alinity i&i project manager. At core diagnostics we are helping our clients to develop their potential and growth using abbott's corelab portfolio in the areas of clinical chemistry, immunology, hematology & custom automation solutions.
*what you'll do*:
- your main responsibilities will be help and accelerate the projects in it specific areas regarding tasks like:
- customer investigation: determining customer needs to interface lis systems (abbott lis protocols only available are astm & hl7) with our abbott platforms (chemistry, inmunology, hematology & automation).
- pre-site: customer visit in order to develop a presite report that's include a complete evaluation or the requirements of the abbott portfolio to be implemented (informatics, minimum spaces, electrical, hydric, waste, temperature).
- site installation: will be trained in abbott's portfolio in order to help the team in the implementation stage (installations) to accelerate the projects implementation.
- scoping: analyze user needs, gather customer requirements, design an integrated, scalable and comprehensive informatics solutions to improve the automation and informatics solutions for clinical diagnostic healthcare customers.
- as well effectively communicating information to cross functional team; status reports to the alinity pm; assuring project is properly scoped for integration into customer sites. This is a field based opportunity 70% of the time.
*required qualifications*
required
- (mechatronics, bionics, biomedical, electro-mechanical, informatics engineering) bachelor's degree diploma and 5 years information technology experience in technical support or digital health service.
- diploma or related field of study computer science & network certification; (windows server & cisco ccna) preferred.
- high level experience installing or supporting critical healthcare hardware, software and infrastructure.
- expert knowledge of windows & linux operating systems, knowledge of tcp/ip networking, architecture ethernet, lan, wan and remote access solutions.
- senior level at managing deliverables and resources of multiple simultaneous projects.
- management of risk in order to taking action that goes beyond defined job requirements to achieve objectives.
- demonstrate superior troubleshooting and critical thinking skills and ability to create/communicate resolution plans for open issues.
- strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills. Expert at identifying alternative ways to view or define problems and using diverse sources for ideas and inspiration.
- english level speaking (b2 minimum required)
- portuguese speaker is a plus.
