*position description*
we are currently searching for an account manager to join our qiagen digital insights team. The position will promote and market complete solutions according to customer needs, for existing and new customers.
The manager will be responsible for creating and maintaining business relationships with clients and establish networks between users of our technologies, coordinating with different departments of the company to achieve sales objectives and customer satisfaction as well as analyzing the potential of the territory and establishing achievable objectives for the closure periods.
*key responsibilities include*:
- meeting sales goals and increasing sales of all qiagen bioinformatics products by managing all sales functions and ensuring good coordination between service and other sales/marketing functions.
- implementing company's strategy through specific territorial plans considering current market trends as well as training and developing individuals/teams so they have the direction, skills and tools to achieve objectives.
- developing and monitoring monthly, quarterly and annual sales objectives as well as ensuring forecast accuracy, pipeline management and customer satisfaction and compliance with requested reports.
*position requirements*
- bachelor's degree related to health sciences. Master's degree (advantage).
- minimum of 2 years of experience as a sales representative.
- medium to advanced knowledge of ms office.
- familiarity with sales force or an equivalent crm system to build customer relationships and follow-up.
- excellent sales, communication and negotiation skills.
- ability to travel 40%.
- fluent in spanish and english language, both written and verbal.
