Job overviewwe are seeking a senior engineer, mechanical to join our global facilities engineering department.
as a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality engineering services and support for the planning, design, construction, operation, and maintenance of critical facilities systems.key responsibilities:provide technical support, leadership, and expertise to global, regional, and site facilities and manufacturing teams as the technical field domain expert.analyze system designs to identify improvements that result in better performance, efficiency gains, reduced maintenance, and cost savings.maintain groundbreaking technical knowledge on industry trends and technological advances, emerging technology roadmap, design innovations, sustainability, etc.design and construction project support:support the micron global, regional, and site design and construction project teams in the engineering and design development for new large-scale facilities infrastructure expansion projects.develop, review, and maintain micron global design and construction standards and construction specifications with focus on engineering design and construction of respective systems.global initiatives program support:develop, review, and maintain micron global best-known methods (bkm) documents with focus on operations and maintenance reliability and/or performance.lead and own the global facilities programs & initiatives, including establishing and defining program objectives, roadmaps, and high-level implementation plans.requirements:bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in mechanical engineering required.minimum 7-10 years of experience in semiconductor and/or facilities-related industry.technical expertise, knowledge, and experience on facilities and semiconductor mechanical and process systems.
