*responsibilities*:
construction management activities for alstom' sub systems activities
- secure work areas availability from cw partner / cw sub-contractor (handover of installation area from cw to systems)
- co-ordinate (with hse team) site access (working area, facilities, access clear from obstructions, tidy)
- participate to quality review (4m) to ensure manpower, material, means (plant & tools), method are available on site and validate to start installation.
- define, implement and coordinate hand over & hand back process of work areas, including quality control
- ensure completion of installation on time to allow start of t&c activities and temporary operations
- validate installation release notices for starting of t&c activities
- if necessary, assist sub-systems for the acceptance of their respective installations by customer representatives.
- support t&c activities during staged handover
staging, planning and scheduling of all site related activities
- coordinate site interfaces between civil works contractors and system wide contractors activities.
- liaise and coordinate with systems design engineering on interface construction details between different subsystems and civil works contractors and system wide contractors
- manage development of coordinated installation programme (cip) and track related installation programme (trip), showing detailed logical staging of construction activities of different subsystems in accordance with project master planning.
- implement construction/installation progress measurement process (indicators, intermediate measurements, review meetings) with all stakeholders
- ensure, as part of the 4m analysis, that sub-systems have all material, plant, equipment and resources available on site, in conjunction with appropriate access to required work areas in a timely manner
- review progress of works, reschedule activities and update planning based both on information from opc cell, subsystems construction managers and the external stakeholders as well as information from planning manager
- report work progress and issues to project management team
- ensure updated planning delivery to all stakeholders.
site interface management
- be involved in the co-ordination of design teams and construction teams by identifying work interfaces on site, getting commitments from partners and subsystems, and communicate agreements to engineering for traceability engineering for implementation on construction drawing (in csd for example)
- agree and close with cw partner and / or sub-systems any gap within scope of work and communicate agreements to engineering for traceability
- liaise with external stakeholders and get agreement on site interface issues (sub-contractors, suppliers, local authorities and neighbours,) and communicate agreements to engineering for traceability
works permit coordination
- identify administrative authorizations required for work execution and process to obtain these authorisations (if partner in charge of getting authorisation assists him in the process as required)
- monitor administrative authorizations delivery and validity period (expiration date)
- implement permit to work process (tunnel works train management) up to transfer to t&c (temporary site operation team).
