key responsibilities:
1. oversee general accounting functions, imss, and payroll.
2. ensure the reliability and accuracy of figures reflected in financial statements.
3. ensure compliance with all company obligations to government entities.
4. verify that account balances are properly reconciled and up-to-date.
5. monitor accounts receivable to ensure timely collection in line with company policies.
6. ensure that travel expenses comply with deductibility requirements.
7. complete monthly closings and generate financial reports for corporate.
8. participate in the preparation and control of the annual budget.
9. prepare provisional, annual, and other tax obligations.
10. prepare informative declarations for the sat.
11. provide required information to external, internal, tax, and imss auditors.
12. supervise accounts payable, payroll, and imss functions.
13. submit variable wages to imss.
14. make decisions in coordination with the controller.
15. participate in physical inventory.
16. participate in audits, follow-up, and closure of findings from internal and external audits.
17. communicate and raise awareness among staff about metrics, environmental aspects, and quality impacts.
18. contribute to the plant's quality and environmental system by fulfilling assigned activities.
19. attend and complete compliance training regularly within established timelines.
