must ensure accuracy and limited variance.maintains accurate balance sheet accounts and corresponding reconciliations.
conducts regular reviews to ensure accuracy.ensures month end process is accurate and executed according to timeline.acts as the finance business partner to the plant manager and their leadership team.responsible for improving the p&l.identifies and supports cost improvements and program profitability activities.maintains a robust internal control environment aligned to the company business operating system and sarbanes oxley requirements.supervises and leads the plant finance team.
responsible for ensuring team is properly trained and supports in professional development activities.supports all compliance, internal and external audit activities.prepares and supports capital appropriation requests including financial justification in accordance with company guidelines.partner with the commercial team on pricing and commercial issues and strategies.leads plant through implementation of new finance and accounting processes and procedures.support and promote a safe work environment at the plant.perform additional related duties and analyses as directed by finance leadership.experience:bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.8+ years of finance and accounting background in a manufacturing environment.
automotive experience is preferred.previous plant controller experience is preferred.exceptional skills with microsoft office, specifically excel.experience with financial systems required.
