we are hiring a senior accounting analyst to drive impactful financial analysis and lead critical financial processes within a dynamic and global organization. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams and play a key role in shaping the company’s financial strategy and operations.
what you will be doing:
* review and analysis of p&l and balance sheet accounts.
* prepare monthly accounting journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
* monthly intercompany cross-charges.
* prepare quarterly financial statements.
* prepare and review facilities annual budget for the gbc in partnership with the local function and finance rep.
* prepare and present the quarterly balance sheet review providing explanations of compositions and the main variations.
* lead the closing meetings, ensuring the p&l and balance sheet balances are correctly integrated.
* monitoring and control of local cost centers.
* capitalization of fixed assets, depreciation and disposal journal entries.
* fixed assets physical inventory audit.
* working with key members of the business to identify areas to improve and propose corrective actions or cost-saving initiatives.
* provide support in the processes of the ap team.
* assure the company is complying with all financial and accounting policies and regulations.
who you are:
minimum qualifications
* bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
* minimum of 5 years of applicable and shown work experience.
* have worked in services companies and have proven experience making accounting and financial analysis.
* excel proficiency is a must.
* evidence of ability to speak and write in advanced english.
desired skills and experience
* knowledge of sap or similar erp-system preferred.
* experience working with multinational companies desired.
* technical skills – demonstrates detailed knowledge in accounting and experience in preparing financial analysis reports.
