provide critical support to dematic global software organization to achieve key organizational objectives. Responsible for building and maintaining organizational metrics, providing business intelligence to regional software leadership team, identifying improvement opportunities through data analysis, and facilitating process improvement measures. This position will collaborate with colleagues and business leaders from all around the world (us, emea, apac regions). You will have an impact on key organizational objectives being achieved as you design and implement data pipelines, build, and maintain data warehouse & marts, provide business intelligence and so much more.
*this is what you will do in this role*:
- gather and consolidate financial and operational data from various resources & tools, and produce meaningful reports. Partner with department/function experts to identify relevant data sources on a global scale.
- maintain critical internal reports and perform monthly maintenance to make sure key results are updated and validated for the regional software leadership team.
- analyze outcome from a wide range of measures and identify opportunities for improvement.
- build modern data pipelines, create and maintain data warehouse & data marts.
work closely with global architects to efficiently implement models and platform transformation layers.
- support in creating automated data quality monitoring for all data sources.
- collect and harmonize data from disparate sources to support bi and advanced analytics.
- continuously improve (process, tools, communication, etc.) with creative solutions.
*what we are looking for*:
*required qualifications*
- bachelor's degree preferably in the fields of finance, business management and/or business information systems
- 1-3 years of proven experience as an analyst or data engineer
- advanced excel modeling preferred, powerbi experience strongly preferred.
- solid experience developing with sql, knowledge of python and etl preferred.
- ability to work with multiple tools to produce executive and management dashboards, providing detailed reports and summaries as requested.
- analytical skills, knowledge and interest in database management.
- ability to learn new tools, process and a strong desire to learn anything new related to data warehouse and data marts.
