as a planning and distribution coordinator, reporting to the supply chain manager you will be responsible for material requirements planning activities for a major/global customer account/ affiliates, including materials ordering and inventory, and production planning and scheduling (fg), to secure that products can be supplied on time to customers following defined quality standards and operative indicators by coordinating import (rm as back up) and export (main responsibilities) shipments.
main responsibilities: refine/finalize production schedules based on inventory levels and material requirements.review production schedules and related supply forecasts to distribution, 3pls and 4pl to secure (fg) material availability to comply with the distribution schedule.track file orders of finished goods and measure material availability day, defining action as correspond.work with the supply chain organization/ production to resolve material availability, quality or operational issues.monitor production schedules to inform the demand planners, customer care and commercial organizations about product delivery dates or resolve delays.identify opportunities for improvement regarding supply planning and service to customers.prepare all documents required for shipment upon customer order confirmation and internal release approval.validate pricing information and coordinate release of invoices.prepare application for and administer export licenses, agreements and amendments required by regulations and manage related for renewals or re-applications.monitor data entry of shipment information into sap shipping module and activate billing upon confirmation of delivery.provide daily shipment tracking, customer service and problem resolution of e.g. exception orders.work together with customs broker(s) to ensure all required customs clearance procedures and documentation are complied with.conduct load tenders to obtain quotes for multiple modes of transportation and select provider.monitor compliance of all documentation with export regulations and inspections conducted by certification firms.back up of the import analyst role.trade agreements and certificate of origin knowledge.you?
