essential duties and responsibilities include the following:
* oversee site financial transactions including financial reporting, forecasting, general accounting, taxes, and auditing.
* responsible for fiduciary control of the plant and ensuring transactions are conducted in accordance with internal and external regulations.
* establish controls to ensure proper investments and utilization of resources (people, capital, and assets).
* responsible for internal control processes, including inventory accuracy, wip, and account reconciliation.
* drive financial support for site operating management, including strap, aop, and other key activities.
* establish and manage budgets, including strap and aop inputs.
* provide financial analysis and decision support to manufacturing productivity initiatives.
supervisory responsibilities:
directly supervises three employees in the finance department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
qualifications:
* bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related discipline plus a minimum of 8 years of experience in accounting and financial analysis. Cpa preferred.
* familiar with project management.
* 5s certification.
* technical acumen to effectively interface with multi-functional team members.
* comprehensive financial expertise to enable development and evaluation of complex business transactions.
* expertise in global financial analysis and cost accounting.
