about the role
as storytelling and narrative manager, you will be the creative force behind the narrative universe of vidantaworld —beginning with its flagship park, bon: beauty of nature. You will define, develop, and protect the central storylines across parks, lands, and key attractions, ensuring a consistent, emotionally powerful, and original storytelling identity. Your mission will be to build immersive worlds that deeply connect with guests and come to life through every detail of the experience. To achieve this, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary internal teams and world-class creative partners, guiding the narrative vision from concept to execution across physical, digital, and branded platforms.
key responsibilities
* design the macro narrative of vidantaworld, establishing its mythology, tone, values, and creative vision to ensure coherence across current and future parks.
* develop and document the core storylines for each park, themed land, and attraction, including characters, plotlines, and unique atmospheres.
* lead the creation of “narrative bibles” and storytelling guides to be used by creative teams across all formats and disciplines.
* collaborate with architecture, design, entertainment, technology, content, and marketing teams to ensure narrative alignment in every guest touchpoint (visual, audio, interactive, and scenic).
* supervise the work of external agencies, creative studios, writers, and designers, ensuring their proposals align with the overarching story vision.
* advise and validate narrative direction across derivative experiences such as live shows, audiovisual content, interactive journeys, digital experiences, branded content, and communication campaigns.
* continuously update and evolve the narrative as new parks, lands, and attractions are developed—ensuring both consistency and innovation.
* participate in naming processes, advertising storytelling, and brand communication to maintain a consistent narrative identity across vidantaworld’s positioning.
* stay informed on global trends in storytelling, theme park design, immersive experiences, and narrative innovation to apply best practices.
* inspire and articulate a shared storytelling vision across vidanta teams, fostering a creative culture that embraces the transformative power of stories.
requirements
* bachelor’s degree in creative writing, literature, communication, film, narrative design, or related fields.
* master’s degree in storytelling, media production, or experience design (preferred).
* 8+ years in narrative development within entertainment, theme parks, video games, film, or immersive experiences.
* proven experience leading interdisciplinary creative processes.
* international exposure or involvement in large-scale entertainment projects (preferred).
* storytelling, worldbuilding, and character development
* bilingual creative writing (english and spanish)
* ability to translate abstract concepts into physical, digital, and emotional experiences
* strong aesthetic sensibility and ability to work with visual and scenic teams
* leadership and cross-functional collaboration
