the role
this position will be instrumental in driving executive decisions on company transactions via m&a and divesture activities.
this position will develop financial models and executive presentations regularly and will perform deep-dive ad-hoc projects.
the main responsibilities
- conducts rigorous financial analysis and uses findings to help guide the business in making decisions
- design and develop complex financial models
- drive action based upon financial results, kpis, and business needs
- build professional relationships with key stakeholders throughout the organization
- complete financial analysis and reporting activities, validating own work and ensuring accuracy of results
- anticipate process obstacles and decides next steps
- detailed knowledge of business they support and how their role impacts the business unit
- provide professional advice, guidance, and service to internal or external clients
- financial and analytical support to organization
- budgeting and forecasting using drivers
- partner with internal clients to provide financial data, consultation and make recommendations regarding completion of objectives, and improving operational effectiveness
- additional responsibilities- gather and organize data used to prepare financial/business reports
- generate special ad hoc reports and perform analysis as requested by supervisor, business partners/clients, and other business unit stakeholders
- improve partnerships with key internal clients by identifying changing business needs, service expectations, quality and format of data provided, and identify opportunities to improve service levels
- leads multiple, complex, and financial/business analysis projects
- review and revise processes as financial and business conditions change
- works on complex issues which require input from multiple sources and innovative problem solving
- acts in a multi-discipline project leadership role working towards the development of new solutions, processes, tools and systems
- interfaces to negotiate and exchange information with all levels of management
- focus on company-wide processes and initiatives
- step in for management when called upon to help lead meetings
- support organization through training other analysts and business partners on key reporting
- bachelor's degree with 5-10+ years of experience in fp&a preferred
- strong presentation, interpersonal, and written skills
- leadership experience in people management, program management and a strong track record of effectiveness in execution, time management, and influencing to deliver objectives.
- strong execution orientation and ability to inspire action
- ability to drive transformational improvements across multiple organizations
preferred
- mba or masters in finance disciplines.
- accounting qualification a plus.

this position is eligible for either short-term incentives or sales compensation.
