oversight of accounts payable, fixed assets, payroll audits, and general ledger day-to-day activity.- performs monthly financial statement closing; prepares and maintains supporting balance sheet and income statement schedule.- supervises a/p, treasury founding, and payroll processes.- provides leadership to and manages the efforts of the accounting personnel to ensure appropriate support of all functions.
recruit, retain, and develop a high-performing accounting team.

charges expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports; recording entries.- supports budgeting, forecasting, and strategic/financial planning activity for the business unit.
supports site controller to set annual financial/operating goals for each function and monitor the progress throughout the year.- establish relationships with senior management level individuals across the business unit and define practices and strategies to add value and maintain cost-effectiveness.- ensures the accurate compilation, timely reporting, and analysis of financial data.
continuously improve closing, planning, forecasting, and other financial/accounting processes (i.e.
