The freight brokerage sales representative is a results-driven role focused on sales growth, customer service, and relationship management. Key responsibilities include:
- building and maintaining relationships with potential and existing customers by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- managing the sales cycle from initial contact to closing deals.
- collaborating with the brokerage team to develop innovative strategies for profitable growth.
- keeping up-to-date with the transportation industry, carrier modes and services, and basic supply chain design, including cross-border shipping.
- monitoring and analyzing market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and develop enhancement strategies.
- adapting and effectively executing any additional assigned duties.
*required qualifications*:
- proven track record of expanding the brokerage customer base and rapidly increasing sales revenues.
- minimum of 2 years of experience in brokerage sales, customer service, and logistics in a 3pl environment.
- results-driven with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
