As a full-service global supply chain partner, converge leverages the open market to provide proactive, data-driven solutions for components, obsolescence and computing - meeting even the most demanding of supply chain requirements.*what you'll be doing*- typically supports a client base of approximately 100 mid-size accounts.- meets assigned sales targets.- sells all solutions, building relationships with internal partners/mapping strategies.- cold calling, prospecting, developing, and servicing a customer base within new and existing customers.- pricing and managing business quotes.- creates selling opportunities within assigned critical, large, multi-location, complex, and high visibility arrow customers through a very strategic sales plan and process.- grows profit and maximizes margins by selling value-added, long-term solutions.- consults with and provides quotes to customers, and ensures orders are properly processed.*what we are looking for*- highly motivated professionals with a passion for sales and 4-5 years previous experience in direct sales, consultative sales, or account management in a fast-paced environment.- bachelor's degree preferred.- excellent verbal and written communications skills; must be fluent in english.- experience with an industrial independent or franchised distributor is a plus.- experience selling technology products and/or services is strongly preferred.- the ability to negotiate sales and drive revenue.- the ability to develop business relationships and penetrate and grow business from new and existing accounts.- quick-thinking, problem-solving, and issue management skills.- excellent communication and organizational skills.*what's in it for you*at arrow, we recognize that financial rewards and excellent benefits are essential aspects of an ideal job.
