as our sr. Buyer, you will be responsible for:
1. monitors purchase requisitions ensuring compliance with preferred/approved suppliers, correct material and supplier master data.
2. supports requestors from business to find right suppliers and clarifies item prices and conditions utilizing framework agreements established by sourcing.
3. monitors order confirmation deviations, clarifies and updates pos accordingly.
4. follows up continuous overdue gr posting reasons with management.
5. clarifies invoice matching deviations for po related invoices.
6. handles day-to-day supplier issues in collaboration with purchasing administrators and business requestors.
7. monitors automated processes with supply lines and handles exceptions escalated by purchasing administrators or other.
8. ensures compliance and adherence to kone policies and procedures, including and notably the po policy.
9. ensures compliance with quality, safety and environmental standards.
required qualifications
* bachelor's degree in business administration, international relations or related. At least 4 years of proven experience as a sr buyer managing the procurement process for maintenance, repair, and operations (mro) supplies.
* advanced english level.
* strong knowledge of procurement best practices, market trends, and supplier management.
* proficient in using sap (materials management module).
* excellent computer skills, including proficiency in excel (pivot tables).
* strong analytical and numerical skills.
* strong negotiation skills with the ability to drive favorable outcomes.
* excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
* analytical mindset with the ability to analyze market trends, pricing, and supplier performance.
* strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
* attention to detail to ensure accuracy in contracts, pricing, and specifications.

you will bring a relevant degree in business or equivalent experience, along with working experience in purchasing. You will use the knowledge gained from your user expertise in sap/erp and other sourcing systems. Your understanding of local requirements in the sourcing and purchasing process will be key to your success. You will also demonstrate persistence, negotiation skills, attention to detail, and a strong focus on compliance.
