the role:
the manager ii, product localization will be responsible for spearheading the localization/customization initiatives for digital products, ensuring they meet the specific needs of various americas markets while aligning with the corporate strategy.
this role requires the ability to blend global and local considerations ensuring that while we operate at the global scale, it´s essential to adapt the product to the local business requirements, regulatory needs, legal framework, an even linguistic and cultural nuances.
how you would contribute:
- lead digital products local implementation aligned with market-specific needs and organizational strategies.
- platform configuration management: overseeing the configurations within the platforms to tailor the business's services or products to each market.
this involves setting up the necessary parameters that align with local business rules and regulations.
- identifying and mitigating risks associated with market entry and customization.
this includes financial, legal, and reputational risks.
- analyze market feedback to continuously meet business requirements, address market-specific challenges and optimize the localization process.
- manage relationships with external vendors and internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality digital products.
- collaborate with product development teams to integrate market requirements early in the product lifecycle.

job qualifications:
skills and background required to be successful:
- strong bilingual (spanish/english) verbal and written communication skills.
- digital proficiency: be proficient in web technologies and e-commerce platforms to effectively contribute to digital initiatives.
- demonstrated experience leading large-scale projects, need to be comfortable with ambiguity and building new processes.
- data analysis: ability to analyze data to extract insights and inform business decisions.
- requirement management: gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements.
- tech-savvy self-starter: a self-starter with curiosity and the capacity to understand complex, integrated systems, coupled with strong business acumen and basic technical skills.
- project management and localization tools: strong project management skills, familiarity with ux design principles, content management, analytics, and working knowledge of software test management tools such as ado, jira, or agility.
- 7 years of experience in localization, translation, or a related field.
education:
- engineering, marketing, computer since, international business, or related field.
