the primary mission of a sales account manager is to drive business growth and profitability by selling profitable projects to both new and existing customers. With a strategic focus to establish koch as the industry's leading supplier of value-added finishing and specialty processing systems.
key responsibilities:
1. identify and pursue new sales opportunities, developing a strategic sales plan.
2. collaborate with estimating and engineering teams to create competitive bids and compelling proposals.
3. build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
4. develop strategies for securing orders and conduct strategic review meetings.
5. stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics.
6. establish and nurture vendor partnerships for lead generation and innovative solutions.
7. actively participate in industry events and trade shows.
8. ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
9. monitor sales performance, analyze metrics, and implement improvements.
10. provide product demonstrations and training to showcase koch’s equipment.
qualifications:
1. bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field preferred.
2. minimum of 5 years of sales experience, preferably in industrial equipment or manufacturing.
3. strong understanding of finishing and specialty processing systems.
4. excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
5. ability to travel as needed.
