our headquarters are in los angeles, california, but we are a truly global company with team-members across the u.s., europe, south america, africa, and asia/pacific. We have gone to a fully remote working platform so that we can attract the world’s best talent.

the role
we are seeking a strong business development rep to join our team! You will establish a strong customer base for the/studio within the usa market. Working closely with key stakeholders across the company, you will be responsible for establishing a strong sales pipeline through outbound tactics. This is a prospecting-heavy, hands-on position in a company expecting to go through fast growth in a fast-growing market.
what you’ll do:
in this role you’ll:
* establish a new client base for the/studio, building a sales pipeline through outbound sales efforts/cold calls
* search for hidden gems in our crm of 100,000+ companies that we can bring back for another project with the/studio
* work closely with our sales team and other key stakeholders to build the sales funnel and develop a plan of attack
* present the/studio products to potential clients
* meet or exceed sales targets agreed with leadership
* proactively identify sales pipeline risks
* proactively reach out to potential clients via phone, email, and social media.
* identify and qualify new business opportunities through research and outbound prospecting.
* develop and maintain a pipeline of leads, ensuring regular follow-ups.
* conduct needs assessments to understand clients' requirements and propose appropriate solutions.
* schedule and coordinate meetings or product demos for the account executive team.
* maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the crm system.
* collaborate with the marketing team to refine outbound strategies and messaging.
within 1 month you'll:
* learn how to pitch the/studio’s value proposition
* understand how the/studio works, get integrated with your team and hit the ground running when it comes to your role.
* find your first outbound opportunity.
* filter through our existing leads in our crm (over 100,000) and have meetings with customers interested in using creating customized merchandise
within 3 months you'll be:
* getting the best deals in the pipeline by hunting and qualifying prospects.
* other team members say they’re learning a lot and are more productive because of you, you're firing on all cylinders and identifying ways we can improve processes!
* you will be a master in our products and identifying good prospects
within 6 months:
* you'll identify new tools / methods / sales processes that work best.
* you'll be charging up for a great end of the year pipeline and exceeding your targets.
* you’ll continuously achieve and overachieve against your quota.
* you’ll start to prep for your new role as a full cycle account executive
about you:
* 1+ years of experience as an outbound focused business or sales development representative (or similar)
* strong & creative negotiation skills
* critical thinker and extremely data-driven: this is performance-based marketing not engagement/brand.
* minimum c1 level of english
* experience with a crm like hubspot, salesforce, or pipedrive
* experience with tools like sales navigator, apollo, salesloft, cognism, etc.
* experience with graphic design, photoshop, illustrator is a plus!
