about the role:
as the strategic business development director, your primary mission will be to plan, coordinate, and oversee the comprehensive development of sustainable communities designed for year-round living in both of our residential complexes, located in mexico and dominican republic. This includes organizing the residential services, creating a profitable model that generates business opportunities and ensuring the ongoing development, maintenance, and profitability of the communities while aligning with the present and future needs of residents.
key responsibilities:
- plan, coordinate, and monitor the transformation of space management into a revenue-generating stream by identifying and creating business opportunities.
- integrate new service providers and operators into the community, fostering the design of sustainable products and services, and expanding the offering to attract more investors and property owners.
- manage the variety and number of brands and establishments within the community, promoting partnerships that maximize synergies and develop the most profitable association models.
- plan, coordinate, and monitor the development and maintenance of community service standards, ensuring strict adherence.
- establish and maintain strategic relationships, including negotiations with companies involved in business establishments, shopping centers, and other economic activities within the community.
- supervise the management of businesses directly operated by bahia principe residences, ensuring their profitability, quality, and alignment with customer expectations.
- design and propose community needs briefings based on destination objectives and resident requirements, aligning actions with the - projects and construction team.
- prepare business cases necessary for proposing investments.
- coordinate with the legal team to draft and enforce contracts related to the development of new businesses within the residential complex.
- oversee budget management and financial performance of the areas under your supervision, ensuring alignment with projected goals.
- develop, prepare, and present management reports and kpis according to the required frequency (monthly, quarterly, four-monthly, semi-annual, and annual) for the residential destination.
requisitos
what we’re looking for:
- over five years of experience leading business development in the residential sector, including forming strategic alliances with a strong focus on customer service.
- at least three years of experience managing multidisciplinary teams and budgets.
- a higher education degree in business administration, economics, law, or a related field.
- bilingual proficiency in english and spanish.
- strong strategic, results-oriented, and customer-focused mindset with leadership capabilities and excellent communication and negotiation skills.
