? Manage all aspects of manufacturing operations, including production, warehouse, materials department, production planning, and local purchasing .
? Manage daily plant operations to ensure production goals are met efficiently.
? Plan and control the effective use of manpower, machines, and materials to meet production targets while driving continuous improvement.
? Ensure manufactured components meet engineering specifications and quality standards .
? Oversee and improve inventory control processes to maintain accuracy and minimize discrepancies. Leadership & team development
? Strategic leadership: develop and execute strategic plans to meet operational performance targets such as safety, quality, on-time delivery, and cost control .
? Lead and mentor department supervisors and staff, ensuring effective performance management, coaching, and employee engagement.
? Develop and implement cross-training programs to enhance workforce flexibility and skill development.
? Manage labor relations practices in accordance with company policies. Key responsibilities
? Compliance management: ensure strict adherence to federal, state, and municipal regulations in partnership with tacna .
? Import/export expertise: manage import/export processes in compliance with mexican customs regulations and usmca requirements, ensuring accurate documentation, regulatory compliance, and smooth cross-border material movement.
? Resource management: plan and control manpower, machines, and resources to meet production goals efficiently.
experiencia y requisitos
? Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered.
?Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing leadership role.
?Experience in sheet metal manufacturing
? Proven expertise in import/export processes and working with shelter organizations like tacna. Skills & abilities
? Strong knowledge of erp systems for production and inventory management.
? Proficiency in microsoft excel, word, or google sheets/docs .
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
? Strong organizational and time management abilities.
? Ability to identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency.
? Proven track record of fostering trust, accountability, and integrity .
